Online Registration For The 2024/2025 Season opens May 1st at 6:00pm
NEW FIRST TIME PLAYERS ~ Pre-Registration Requirements
1. Create a Hockey Canada Account (done through a Spordle Account) and obtain your player’s Hockey Canada ID
2. Complete the Mandatory Respect in Sport – Parent Program **NOTE - this is for new players, and MUST be done prior to registration, as this is how they receive the players Hockey Canada Registration number **
3. If you already have a child participating in minor hockey for who you’ve completed the Respect in Sport Parent course, you simply have to login to your Respect in Sport – Parent Program and add the new player. Enter your login credentials (username and password) and click Login. Click on Profile, Click on Child Management and in Child Management, you select ADD CHILD. Be sure to select Devon Minor Hockey as your minor hockey association. This step will create a new Hockey Canada ID for your new player.

*DISCOVERY HOCKEY
WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?
- -Brand new skaters, wearing full hockey equipment; learning to skate and incorporating limited hockey skills throughout the season.
- -Players in this program need to be 4-years old as of December 31 of that year, or older.
- -Older athletes may also register if they are brand new to skating and hockey.
- -Please note that NO games or tournaments will be scheduled for this program.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
- -Teaches basic movement and skating skills through development drills.
- -Non-competitive fun activities are also incorporated to further develop the skills that were learned.
- -Players receive TIMBITS jerseys, socks, medals and possible gifts.
- -Group formation of 10-15 players
- -Skill development sessions will occur on the weekends, once per week, with each session being 60-minutes in length. This session will occur on shared ice surfaces with our other U7 program.
**U18-3 PILOT PROGRAM
- -This will be a separate registration option on Team Snap.
- -Reduced registration cost.
- -Only 1 practice per week.
- -Normal EFHL Tier 3 Non Body Contact game schedule (6 tiering games and 14 league games) as well as the DMHA home tournament.
- -Away tournaments will be based on a team vote.
- -Anyone registering for this option will NOT participate in evaluations and will be automatically placed on team 3.
- -Players who choose this option will still be invited to all conditioning skates with DMHA.
- -We will require a minimum of 10 registrations to proceed with the program. If there is not enough interest, anyone who registered with this option will be offered a full refund or the option to pay the difference to join our regular U18 program.
- -Players that pay the full registration and are not successful in making team 1 or 2 will be placed on team 3 and refunded the difference in registration costs.
- -It will be determined by August 1 if this pilot program will proceed based on registration numbers in this option.
